What Happened to the Lovely Baby Meeko?

Meeko was the happiest little puppy anyone had ever seen. With soft golden fur, bright brown eyes, and a tiny wagging tail, he brought smiles to everyone in the neighborhood. Every morning, Meeko would run through the garden chasing butterflies while the children laughed and played beside him. He especially loved his owner, Lily, who cared for him since the day he was born.

One rainy afternoon, Lily noticed something strange. Meeko did not come running to the door when she called his name. Usually, he would bark excitedly and jump into her arms, but this time the yard was silent. Worried, Lily grabbed her small yellow umbrella and began searching around the house.

She checked the garden, the porch, and even Meeko’s favorite hiding place under the old wooden bench. There was no sign of him. As the rain grew heavier, Lily’s heart filled with fear. She asked neighbors if they had seen the little puppy, but nobody knew where he had gone.

Just as Lily was about to give up hope, she heard a faint cry near the river behind the park. She followed the sound carefully and discovered tiny paw prints in the muddy ground. There, trapped between two rocks near the water, was baby Meeko. He was cold, wet, and frightened.

Lily quickly lifted him into her arms and wrapped him inside her warm jacket. Meeko trembled softly, but when he looked at Lily, his tail gave a weak little wag. She carried him home immediately and dried him with a fluffy towel while the family prepared warm milk and a cozy blanket.

After a few hours, Meeko finally regained his energy. He barked happily and curled up beside Lily on the couch, safe once again. Everyone realized how important love and care truly were. From that day on, Lily never let Meeko wander near the river alone.

The lovely baby Meeko had a scary adventure, but thanks to Lily’s kindness and determination, he returned home where he belonged.
