Tiny Leo was a small golden puppy who lived in a quiet farmyard. His fur was soft like sunshine, and his eyes were big and gentle. But one sad morning, Tiny Leo had no energy in his body. He lay on the earth for a long time, too weak to stand up or play.
The sun rose slowly over the farm, warming the grass and the dusty ground. Birds sang in the trees, and the other animals walked around looking for food. But Tiny Leo did not move. He rested his little head on the ground and closed his eyes.
Tiny Leo’s mother, Libby, was a busy dog. She had many things to do around the farm. She guarded the house, chased away strangers, and watched the chickens. Because she was so busy, she did not always feed Tiny Leo enough milk.
Without enough milk, Tiny Leo’s tiny body grew weak. His legs felt heavy, and his belly felt empty. He tried to stand up, but his paws trembled. After a few steps, he slowly lay down again on the cool earth.
Time passed, and the sun climbed higher in the sky. The warm light touched Tiny Leo’s back, but he still felt tired. A gentle breeze moved through the grass, brushing his fur softly. Tiny Leo opened his eyes for a moment and looked around, hoping someone would help him.
Soon, Libby noticed that Tiny Leo was not running or playing like the other puppies. She walked over and saw him lying quietly on the ground. His small chest moved slowly as he breathed.
Libby felt worried. She nudged him gently with her nose and licked his face. Tiny Leo gave a tiny whimper. At that moment, Libby realized he needed more care and more milk.
She lay down beside him and let Tiny Leo drink warm milk. Slowly, he began to feel a little stronger. His tail moved just a bit, and his eyes looked brighter.
From that day on, Libby made sure Tiny Leo had enough milk and rest. And little by little, the tiny puppy found his energy again.
