Little Levy’s New Experience Learning to Walk on Rocks for the First Time
Little Levy had always loved exploring the outdoors, but one sunny morning he faced a challenge he had never tried before—walking on rocks. The path near the river was covered with smooth, round stones that looked exciting but also a little scary. Levy stood at the edge of the rocky path, staring down at the uneven surface. He wondered if he could keep his balance.
At first, Levy stepped very carefully. His tiny feet slipped a little on the smooth rocks, and he wobbled from side to side. “Whoa!” he laughed as he tried to steady himself. It felt strange compared to walking on soft grass or a flat sidewalk. Every rock moved slightly under his feet, making him feel like he was on a tiny boat rocking in the water.
Levy watched how the bigger kids walked across the rocks. They bent their knees slightly and took slow, careful steps. Levy decided to try the same thing. He spread his arms out wide like wings to help balance. Step by step, he moved forward. One rock… then another… and another. Soon he noticed that if he focused on where he was stepping, it became a little easier.
Halfway across the rocky path, Levy felt more confident. Instead of worrying about falling, he began to enjoy the challenge. Each step felt like solving a small puzzle—choosing the best rock to land on. Sometimes the rocks were slippery, and sometimes they were steady. Levy learned to test them gently before putting all his weight down.
When he finally reached the other side, Levy’s face lit up with a proud smile. He had done it! What once seemed difficult now felt like an exciting adventure. His legs were a little tired, but his heart was full of happiness.
From that day on, Levy wasn’t afraid of rocky paths anymore. He had learned that trying something new might feel tricky at first, but with patience, practice, and a little courage, even walking on wobbly rocks could become a fun and rewarding experience.
