Rose Ignores the Milk While Rina Holds Onto Baby Memories

Rose Tries to Ignore Rina’s Milk Because She Isn’t a Newborn Anymore, but Rina Still Thinks She Is a Tiny Baby

Rose was growing up fast. She could walk by herself, talk in full sentences, and even help clean up her toys after playtime. Everyone in the family could see that she was no longer a little newborn baby. However, there was one person who refused to accept that change — her mother, Rina.

Rina still treated Rose like she was only a few weeks old. Every morning, she carried warm milk bottles around the house and followed Rose everywhere. “Come here, my tiny newborn,” Rina would say sweetly while trying to feed her. Rose would sigh and shake her head. “Mom, I’m not a baby anymore,” she replied almost every day.

Rose wanted to act independent. She preferred eating pancakes, fruit, and sandwiches instead of drinking milk all the time. Whenever Rina brought another bottle, Rose tried her best to ignore it. Sometimes she hid behind the couch, and other times she ran into her room pretending to be busy drawing pictures or reading storybooks.

But Rina could not stop thinking of Rose as her precious newborn. She remembered the days when Rose was tiny enough to sleep in her arms for hours. To Rina, those memories felt like yesterday. Even though Rose had grown taller and smarter, Rina’s heart still saw the little baby she once held so carefully.

One afternoon, Rose finally sat down beside her mother and spoke honestly. “Mom, I’ll always be your daughter, but I need you to see that I’m growing up,” she explained gently. Rina looked surprised at first, then smiled sadly. She realized Rose was right.

From that day on, Rina stopped chasing Rose with milk bottles everywhere. Instead, they enjoyed meals together like mother and daughter. Sometimes they laughed about the old days when Rina treated Rose like a newborn. Even though Rose had grown older, Rina still loved her with the same warm and caring heart.
